Service Philosophy

WESELOH HONDA REFUSES TO SELL UNNECESSARY SERVICES!

Many service centers now sell a wide variety of services that are totally unnecessary and may be harmful to your Honda. Honda engineers have conducted exhaustive tests to create specialized maintenance products and service standards that support the performance and longevity of Honda Vehicles. In the interest of maintaining the quality of our products and to help ensure your satisfaction, we will not try to sell you service you do not need.

DO NOT USE OIL OR FUEL ADDITIVES The engine oil change intervals and service item recommendations which are detailed in your owner's manual. In regard to engine and transmission additives, the owner's manual clearly states that they are not recommended.	TRANSMISSION FLUSHING SHOULD NOT BE USED Use of additives, solvents, cleansers, or conditioners as part of a flush may adversely affect transmission durability, performance, and shift quality. In rare instances flushes may be used to remove improper fluids.
DO NOT INCREASE THE FREQUENCY OF OIL CHANGES Perform oil changes only in accordance with your vehicle's maintenance schedule. More frequent oil changes are costly and waste natural resources.	COOLING SYSTEM FLUSHING IS NOT RECOMMENDED Use of a cooling system flushing machine that "reconditions" the existing coolant should never be used, as the procedure cannot completely reverse the chemical deterioration that occurs to coolant during use.
DO NOT FILL TIRES WITH NITROGEN Research has shown there is no benefit to inflating tires with nitrogen. Therefore, fill tires only with dry, compressed air.	ENGINE FLUSHES SHOULD NOT BE PERFORMED There is absolutely no benefit to flushing the engine lubrication system as a maintenance procedure. An increasing number of catastrophic engine failures have been reported soon after this procedure was performed.
FUEL INJECTION CLEANING/FLUSHING UNNECESSARY This is an unnecessary maintenance item. Unless specifically directed by a Honda vehicle's service manual and done according to its stated procedures, use of injection (induction) cleaning/flushing may be damaging.
